A one-page cafe website
When the owner of The Parlour in Herne Hill got in touch, the website for her London cafe had remained unfinished for a year. I worked alongside her, to develop a WordPress website which perfectly suited the cafe’s needs: brand awareness, information, map, menu, gallery, bookings and so on.
After launching the site, the online bookings started to roll in and it received an ever-increasing stream of traffic from people searching in Google.
After some time The Parlour found that their own web hosting was a bit sluggish, so they switched over to my fully-managed web hosting and since then I’ve also provided them with website maintenance services, to keep WordPress and the plugins up to date.
”The Parlour cafe needed help to get its website up and running and Lewis was a lucky find. He understood the brief immediately, identified ways to improve the layout and his expertise was really appreciated. For something that had been on my to-do list for ages, having Lewis’s time – he worked all day at the cafe and it was live by the time he left – made all the difference. Since then, his knowledge and advice have enabled us to develop an even better and more efficient website, something I could never have done myself.
