Developing a flexible modular travel content WordPress website
A video-centric WordPress website ready to grow into the future
We were provided with a design in Figma and tasked with transforming it into a custom WordPress website built with flexible modules. This approach enabled the travel content website to establish a solid foundation and get off the ground.
A flexible modular WordPress website
Starting with the London location, this flexible, modular WordPress website is designed and builtto handle varying amounts of content for different locations, whether minimal or extensive. We built it with adaptability in mind. The homepage can showcase locations that are “coming soon” and lack detailed pages, alongside locations with ready-to-go content that can begin building traction.
The location pages offer a selection of modules, including video sections, quotes, bold headings with Vimeo-embedded background videos, and dynamic Google Maps integrations. This modular approach allows the client to select and arrange components, enabling them to build pages flexibly as new content becomes available.
We are now entering the next phase of design and development, where we’ll be adding several new modules and an article content type. Check back soon to see the latest evolution of this dynamic and ever-expanding site.
