The Rum Kitchen

The website the client had was on Squarespace, however, they wanted the power of WordPress, therefore it was the perfect opportunity to redesign the website at the same time. The WordPress website needed to allow for restaurant bookings to be made and emails to be collected for a newsletter, which were both third-parties systems which needed to be integrated.

The finished WordPress website was really well regarded by the design and development community, narrowly missing out on a Site Of The Day (global) award but achieving an Honorable Mention instead by Awwwards.

Following the launch of the site, I helped The Rum Kitchen to produce one of the industy's most advanced and dynamic digital menus with logic to tailor the menu items to different allergies and dietary requirements.
