A Business Improvement District website

When InStreatham got in touch, they had a very tired and out of date Drupal website – it simply wasn’t cutting the mustard for them. Because it was also so hard for them to use, it was left out of date and was holding them back from reaching out to local businesses online.

I had a meeting with the management and board of trustees, gathered their requirements and created a design which was consistent with their new logo and brand guidelines. In fact, after starting work using their existing brand, we quickly realised this was also in need of a rebrand – the glossy new site looked inconsistent against the ‘vintage’ logo.

I built a business directory which has advanced custom fields, a fully-featured calendar set up, MailChimp integration and custom forms. The move over from Drupal to WordPress went smoothly and I popped into their office to provide on-site training for their staff; so they could update the content on the site themselves.

Since the launch, I have provided InStreatham with website support. One example is when the Corona Virus hit and they needed a page full of information and a special category of COVID-19 related articles which would appear on that page only. Then I created a nice and clean pop-up which would get people’s attention as soon as they landed on the site. Whatever they need website related, I’m here to help them.
