The challenge & the solution.
Biogen, the UK's leading anaerobic digestion plant owner and operator, needed a complete digital transformation. Their existing site no longer reflected the scale of the business --- 19 AD facilities, 650,000 tonnes of food waste recycled annually and enough renewable energy to power 120,000 homes --- nor their position at the forefront of the UK's transition from fossil gas to homegrown biomethane.
We designed and built a pixel-perfect, fully bespoke WordPress website with a contemporary editorial style. A modular system of up to ten ACF-powered page modules lets the in-house team assemble pages, scale content and introduce new sections over time without rebuilds. Animated stats, subtle scroll-triggered transitions and carefully sourced photography elevate the brand, while a structured information architecture organises everything from food waste recycling and local authority services to anaerobic digestion education, news, careers, policies and a comprehensive contact experience. A custom styled Google Map with organised popup pins and dynamic location information ties the national network of facilities together visually.
