WITSEND
A relaunch and members area rebuild for WITSEND, with events, WhatsApp groups and a 320-member directory running live from the team's Airtable.

WITSEND is a paid membership community for senior women in leadership, from C-suite executives to founders and board directors. After years of changes, its Wix site had built up layers: old and new versions of pages side by side, old URLs still live, and menus tied to page names, so renaming a page could rename a live menu item. The phone menu pointed at retired pages, and most visitors arrive on a phone. The members area was a patchwork too. Events and WhatsApp groups were kept up to date in Airtable, then copied into the site by hand, which meant two versions of the truth and a lot of manual work for a small team. The access rules needed tightening to match how the membership actually works, and all of it had to be ready for a fixed launch date of 7 October 2026.
I built the new public pages from Joao's Figma design across four breakpoints, moved every page to its final URL with 301 redirects, retired the old pages without breaking links and rebuilt the headers, mobile menus and footer. Rather than copying content into the site, I connected the members area straight to the team's Airtable. Events and WhatsApp groups now read directly from it and update within minutes, event filters are built from the data itself, and WhatsApp join links sort themselves into join, email to join or coming soon. The members directory lists around 320 members with search and filters, members edit their own profiles and the changes write back to Airtable, and a pre-built copy that refreshes hourly roughly halved the load time. The site now tells members, lapsed members and applicants apart, only paying members reach member content, and renewals and new applications land in Airtable automatically. All of the code lives in GitHub, connected to Wix, so every change is version-controlled. After launch I did a round of phone fixes, clearer error messages and ongoing support, including fixing a nightly loop that was quietly creating duplicate member records.
