A cafe in London adds an article titled "How dog friendly are London cafes?" to their website. They then write about why they believe it's important that dog friendly cafes like theirs exist. They also make reference to how their cafe welcomes furry friends and how all dogs get some free biscuits when their owners bring them along.
The article directly benefits the cafe's website search engine optimisation (SEO) through the keywords used in the title and copy. When somebody Googles for example "dog friendly cafes in London" this article will likely be returned on the results page.
The person searching then sees this relevant article and clicks through to the website where they can read more; potentially finding the cafe a new customer... and biscuit muncher.
